The 7th Praise and Picnic in the Park was a great success. God showed up and he showed out! He blessed us with beautiful weather after the rainy day before. Four hundred plus people showed up making this the largest crowd ever. Cooked and served 450 hot dogs, went through over 700 hundred soft drinks and bottles of water, 150 bags of cotton candy went somewhere, and over 100 pounds of ice went into snow cones. Don't even know how many kids got their faces painted. Hundreds swarmed the very popular Wacky World 'blow up". (See picture on right.) They didn't even mind the mud around the entrance. In fact, it is quite possible they considered it a part of the attraction. :)
Many thanks to ALL the people that made this a great success. Also, special thanks to our special guests, Pelham First Baptist's Men Praise Team and the puppets.
